Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Amazing shots Trooney, just back from a similar trip myself, but didn't get anything as nice as you have there! Mono Lake is an amazing place, I wish we had more time there, but we were on a 10 hour drive so couldn't spend that long there. Your shot of it is as good or better than anything I saw in the Calendars in the petrol station beside it.

Heading over to pix to give you a few votes...

Having been, literally, to everywhere you've shot (and stood where you stood in a few of them) I can say you've acquitted yourself very well. Really like the one from Trinidad.

Say, did you camp in the parking lot where the trail to the tufas starts? Asking because with state budgetary problems, I'm wondering if you were 'visited' by any rangers.

    Some lovely images.

I'm not long back from California myself, and went to San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park and such.

I've also been to Bryce before, Vegas, and those other fun place.

    Lovely photos.

You can self-register at the kiosk in the car park (fill a short form and put $6 per vehicle in a provided envelope); once you display the tag on your windscreen there are no 'disruptive' visits from the rangers. :D
