    Well I have a few.

    A big brown stew with melting beef and spuds mashed into it at the end with the gravy.

    Cottage Pie with mushy peas on the side. Spoon to pie, spoon to peas, and mix.

    Mashed potato with roasted garlic + the oil the garlic roasted in, and lots of sea salt.

    Right, I'm off, I'm starving now!

    bread and butter pudding.
    rice pudding.

    Hot beef stew with golden crusty cornbread
    Sausage, eggs, big fluffy buttermilk biscuits with milk gravy and steamy hot coffee
    Baked potato with butter and sour cream
    Frosted sugar cookies with hot chocolate topped with marshmallow cream
    Round roast cooked in brown gravy accompanied by mashed potatoes and pea salad

    Soup soup soup!

    My mam used to always have soup ready for us after school in the winter months. I love it. Really hearty food.

    I make loads of different types, and freeze it :D

    It's really calorific so I don't eat it very often, but lasagne and chunky chips would be the ultimate comfort food for me!
    Or some fresh Tiger bread with ham and a pack of King crisps.
    Another option would be an M&S Cumberland Pie..delish! :D

    Whats so funny? Its my favourite as well.

    Also cornish pasty, chili con carne, and Cajun garlic prawns, mmmmmm.

    Curries. Spicy Curries.

    Love the big one pot wonders on a Sunday too, beef bourguignon type dishes. And soups too. I could go on but really just good hearty food.

    Goulash with warm crusty bread.
    Stewed shin of beef & root veg.
    Pheasant braised in cider with roasted apples.
    A good thick homemade soup made from Sunday's roast chicken dinner leftovers.
