Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A tin of pop*.
    A tin of Pringles.
    A tin of soup.
    A tin of beer.

*Does anyone actually use the word 'pop' who doesn't live inside an Enid Blyton novel?

Next you'll be telling me there's no tin in tin foil. ;)
    That's because it's thin.

You do know they actually act as antennas for frequencies assigned to the government , it's like putting a satellite dish tuned to 1.3GHz on your head

You might want to get out a bit more in that case.

I'm currently working in Belfast and I think they say tins, not sure though.

One lad back home in Mullingar says tinnies but he always has to be different.

It's can as far as I'm concerned. I work in the industry ya know! :p

The only time I've seen or heard the term 'tinnies' is on the packaging for the fosters 6 packs. It says "6 tinnies for E7". Makes me cringe every time I see it.

They're only tins if you're an aussie, otherwise they're cans or canadians for short:D
