Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The autumn calvers often have the calves on them a bit longer with us.
We would never wean in july or august if we can help it, so we keep an eye on calving date and wean either in sept on 6 weeks to due date.

Spring calvers usually weaned in oct.

8-10 months, but if I was culling the cow it might be done at 4/5 months in order to try fatten the cow.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
