Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've a 7mth old Ped CH bull (DOB 1/4/11) that I'm going to sell middle of April 2012, so just over 12mth old. There's a pic of him in the last pages of the photos tread@5mths.

He's weaned 2weeks, ringed and in slatted shed pen on his own with a straw bed off it.

What amount of ration would he want to be on now at this stage? I'm thinking of P&V ration. What's the regime to build him up gradually? ie how much and how to go about ramping it up.

Thanks for reading. All advice appreciated

have 1 thats just shy of a year, he was on a 16% beef nut along with some crunch, got very gutty and was loose. have changed him onto barley straw and have just taken awaythe beef nut and changed him to a bull nut 18%. Its all a bit new to me so was surprised to see him eating the straw no bother. am disappointed with how this lad has turned out but probably down to myself not feeding him correctly, will see how he goes on this regime for a while.

Start him off at a couple of pound and gradually bring him up to something like a bag a day (25KG) :D

Bet ya I'm not that far off what some of them society sale bulls eat!

Best to talk to some of the pedigree breeders in your area for advice on that or someone in your local ai station, its not as hard as you think to kill a young bull by overfeeding
