Change Sharepoint default homepage

Im trying to find a way to change my default hompage of the sharepoint to link to the "All Site Content" page.

Any ideas?

In SharePoint terminology the "all site content" page is a "Layouts" or "Application" page, which is a special type of page in SharePoint which technically does not actually exist in that site, so you can't make it the home page for the site.

You would need to edit the existing homepage and add a redirect.

It doesn't sound like a particularly good idea to me though, normally a more effective method would be to use the quick launch (left navigation) to display links to the content that people should navigate to, and to use web parts on the home page to summarise any important content, or to display further navigation links. But maybe you have your reasons
