Add international texting to the eMobile webtext service?

Hi guys........

I assume adding the ability to send texts internationally is in the roadmap?. Had it with my previous operator and it was v handy.

I can't confirm or deny anything at the moment, as I'm waiting on an update on this myself.

Wanna +1 on this.

It's a real disadvantage with emobile and one that I wasn't aware of before moving (assumed international web texts was a given).

I know at least two people for whom this is a deal breaker.

It is a trade off for eMobile/Meteor between competing with Vodafone's 600 international free webtexts on one hand and on the other hand protecting their revenue from 25 cent per international text message.

You could just use the app JaxtrSMS to send free international texts.

At the moment we do not have plans to make this available but I will pass on this request to the relevant department.

If this changes in the future it will be updated on our website.
