Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cadence in the Irish military

    Does anyone know any running cadences that are in use in the Irish Defense Forces?
    Do they cadence at all?

    I'm quite partial to the odd cadence, the bawdier the better, getting some1 grinning when all they want to do is throw up has its merits . But most of them are just rejigged versions of the yank ones. Bar the odd localized inventive one.

    Theres no real cadence apart from the pti/ptl occaisionally bellowing

    "CLAY,DOS,CLAY,DOS,CLAY,DOS,CLAY" to set the pace of the run ahhhhh the memories :D

    Rumour has it as punishment an RDF class had to use the Spongebob Squarepants song as a cadence....

    I'm not familiar with the song, but some of the people that were in my unit wouldn't consider that punishment.

    It wasn't punishment. Its actually a very good cadence, and everyone knows the words... and it isn't in a7 territory.
