Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Use Agriking here.

how do you find them. do they cover all nutrition or only milking rations.
how much do they cost, and what do you get for it.

get reasonable service of teagasc and sales rep (usual one is on maternity at moment, and new lad a bit vague). had keenans for two years when we bought last feeder, bloody useless, had to keep chasing them to get basic service.

being paid on solids for all milk now inc liquid, so need that little bit extra.

need milking/ dry cow diets and mineral supplementation advise.

Knowing exactly what you have in feed terms is most of the battle(all forage analysis), its not that hard to formulation diets yourself. I would have a decent grasp of it myself on the beef side and having spoken to a good few people in the past I reckon there is only a half dozen people in the country that a red hot on nutrition. I have adopted a different route with the beef diet side of things over the last few years and instead of trying to achieve top LWG using expensive ingredients now its a much cheaper diet giving a LWG a little bit lower than the top but at a much reduced cost.
