olympic shooters

    just wondering how many have we qualified for the olympics? who and what disciplines? has derek burnett made it?
    you would think rte would show these sports and its only across the water???

    Don't think anyone has got a quota place yet, but we should have a few going :)

    I imagine RTE will show it, but don't expect shooting to get much air time :(

    yeah if we have shooters there they should be followed by rte, usually have to watch it on eurosport:rolleyes:, or youtube i suppose,

    Yeah, you'd think RTE would be interested, but in past years they've ignored us winning the World Championships twice, and several World Cups.

    Happily, there's now a dedicated ISSF Youtube channel... but they might not be able to carry the Olympics because NBC hold the rights to the footage...

    they will have no excuses this tima around with it so close to home, but i'm sure they'll think of one:D
