    Hi,

I have a cousin coming into Dublin from the states for a few days. I am working until 5 most days so by the time I will get to show them around the city it will be dark.

I don't want to spend the whole time in a pub so can anyone recommend any places that would be especially worth a visit at night? The quays up around the Custom House are nice at night but I'm looking for a few more spots you might know of. It can be hard to think in the mind of a tourist :)

    cheers.

Whilst you don't want to spend all your time in pubs, there is a literary pub crawl which visits some lovely pubs and does a scene and brief background on about five irish Plays.it also does one scene in the courtyard in trinity. It's well worth a go

Um. The Ghost Bus Tour? I've heard mixed reviews, but sure it's something different.

as mentioned above, the literary pub pub crawl is good fun.

The Dublin Eye might be nice at night.

the Hellfire walking tour or any of the haunted walking tours
