    lets say im buliding a site using wordpress but i want it installed in a subfolder - eg /website. how do i go about this

    If you are using the auto installer then when you are going through the installation process it asks you what directory (url) to put it at and by default I think its /wordpress so just change that to whatever folder you want to put it in or set it to just / to install it at the root for the domain.
