It's only about a year or so ago I found out what spooning was. I always assumed it something really filthy and so didn't bother finding out what exactly it entailed. I tried imagining some position involving actual spoons and decided I didn't wanna know anymore. Spooning just sounds like it would be something really dirty!

But yeah, actual spooning is wonderful (be it pre-forking or post-forking!) I hate people who only ever want be to big spoon or little spoon though. It's only fair to take turns.

Anyway,I dont get how some peoples arm goes to sleep.

Girls head is on the pillow so the arm is under her neck.

Other arm goes around between boobs like a seat belt.

With sexy results.

Plus most women Ive encountered have very sensitive necks/ears so its the ideal position if she turns you down to get in some snakey neck kissing.

Without being sexist, is it not just more practical for the man to be the 'big spoon'.
Most men would be bigger than their partners & really it's just awkward if your over 6 foot and she's just 5 foot.
Honestly, it never even crossed my mind trading places before I seen this thread so what's the obsession with being this 'little spoon'......???

if you're around the same size its grand to switch around but if you're a good bit taller than her it makes sense that you should be big spoon. i love spooning but the one time i tried to be big spoon he was so much taller than me my face was at his back and my arm couldnt reach around him comfortably and i'd nowhere to put it then. it wasn't comfortable
