Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Howdy all,

Just wondering if there is going to be a ceremony or I dunno, a rigmarole about it?

I heard people in college saying it was at 5 on Friday, anyone know anything more?

There's gonna be a choir there, De La Salle School I think, and I heard something about that viking group (they dress up as vikings) being there. That's it I think, Mayor and Santa will turn on the lights around 5.15 or something. Oh, and I think the carousel is supposed to be open too.

Little off topic but I absolutely love the city centre (much more then say cork or Dublin) over Christmas. Freezing weather, music, lights, bit of a buzz with the crowd. It does have a certain something about it.

Waterford Vikings will escort the Mayor to switch on the lights, and yes there will be the De La Salle choir, but not santa. 5pm, Red Square.
