School's out for Christmas. :D And I am officially de-scrooged and in a Christmassy mood. There's something about walking around school all day singing Christmas songs and discussing Christmas dinner and presents and plans and general happiness. :) Christmas is good, life is good, everything's goooooood. :D

54 hours to go according to my iPod countdown. To think not so long ago that figure was in quadruple digits. :')

I watched The Muppet Christmas Carol this morning, which immediately put me into an extremely festive mood. :D

Ah it's so close :) One more normal day, and then it's Christmas eve :') And there's been a Christmas candle lighting all day so everything smells lovely, and my granny made stuffing today and the turkey is ordered and it's huge for a huge family and the ham is also and everything is generally nom and brilliant :D

After a rotten start to the day which was mainly cause I got outta the wrong side of the bed (and had to go to the square with no makeup on cause my sister stole my makeup bag last night, with the biggest spot in the world (seriously skin, it's been months, why now?), seriously bushlike hair and an all round junkie appearance) I am feeling quite christmassy! Just had a lavly shower with loadsa soap and glory stuff from the big set my mam usually gets me as a prechristmas present, and had to restrain myself from putting on my new Christmas eve flannel man pjs. Did the last of the shopping with mam today too! Presents from me and her mostly wrapped and under the tree, the house smells like mulled wine and the dogs covered in tinsel. AND MY BEST FRIENDS ARE HOME FROM GERMANY TOMORROW! stupid Erasmus stealing all my friends.

I have found my Christmas spirit

Google is all colourful and Christmassy! Its also singing at me but there's no sound on this computer so I'll just have to guess the song...hmm...

Pity work is destroying my day, but there are basically no customers so I'll be blaring out the Christmas songs in no time. Now if only some of these computers had sound :( I'll just have to keep singing. Someones gunna catch me in the corner dancing merrily to Snow is Falling preeety soon! :D

Also I like this old Aled/young Aled thing going on here. Its quite nice:

I have a headache and a sore throat, but it's not enough to quench my Christmassy feeling! I don't think I've been this excited for Christmas in a couple of years...this year is different for some reason:p

And it's the last year that we'll have Santa in our house...I'm gonna miss the excitement of my baby brother. My dad managed to convince him not to get up too early by telling him that if he does get up too early, he'll frighten Rudolf and Rudolf will piddle on the roof:o The roars of laughter out of him were priceless..I'm gonna miss it next year!

You can get another year at least. My cousin believed until he was 13 (he had to be told when going into secondary school :o)

We could, but a lot of the children in his class are starting to doubt or have stopped believing, we don't want him to be ridiculed for it this time next year. Obviously, he wouldn't be the only one who believes, but because of the way he is, he's a bit more open to being bullied.

This year is extra special though:)

I'm getting back into the spirit now :) The last two days really ruined it but mass and eveyone come over afterwards as per usual has enlightened me :) Happy Christmas you guyyyyys!

    First year without Santa.

    It'll be strange....
But mam is still adamant that we still get up early and open presents and that nothing really changes :P Although really, I don't care about presents as much as I used to in previous years...

I could have written that exact post! :P Same here! I'm pretty sure my brother knew last year, he just didn't say it, but he's totally out of the Clauset now. :PI've even been sent to bed :(

ya my sister soooo knew last year. But pretended just for the presents..

Myself and my other sister tried to convince the youngest one to maybe keep pretending for this year. But when you're 13 and started in secondary school, the parents kinda find it hard to believe at that stage :P

Even though I'm the youngest, we still get most of our presents labelled as "from Santa".

I've no clue as to what time we'll be getting up to open the presents at though. In all honesty I'd still get up at like 5 to open them if I could but my brother is the waker-uper so it'll have to be whatever time he decided to get up at. We usually have a big discussion over what time we're gonna get up at but there hasn't really been one so I'll just have to wait and see......

    :pac: Can't say you didn't try! :P

So glad my parents are keeping it going. I dunno what I'd do if they said we wouldn't bother doing it. I'd have to adopt a young child or something...

And ya, we still do the Santa ritual even though we're all between 19 and 28 :P
