Try the Cork Film Centre. They're very helpful. http://www.corkfilmcentre.com/
There is also an amateur filmmaking club called Moving Image Cork that meet regularly. Not sure how to contact them, but they post details of meetings here occasionally. http://www.peoplesrepublicofcork.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21
