Amp and Speakers for €200 ???

    Hi lads
    My brother has been inspired by my denon amp and 5.1 speaker setup I bought from yourselves earlier this year. However his budget is limited.
    Initially he wants just two speakers and an av reciever that he can use for his tv and a record player.
    He says 200 is is budget but I reckon I could convince him to spend a 100 more.
    Any ideas??

    Hi Darken.

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    200 Euro would be too tight to do it with a separates system.

    The only way that I can think of would be to put in a 5.1 system with DVD etc on board.

    I currently don't have a 5.1 system that would fit the bill.

    The closest one that I would have would be the LG SR system but it's £199.95, not 200 Euro.

    I know this isn't particularly helpful but we don't tend to keep that many 5.1 systems with dvd on board as they are very restrictive in terms of the connections and they also tend to be a bit short on quality.

    I've had another chat with him.
    Have you an AV receiver around the €200 mark and then a pair of speakers for around €100. These speakers could then be used as rear speakers when he can afford some floor standers.
