Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I find it very to believe where someone in the service could know how many applied and more so where they were from and their employment status as the entire application process is been looked after by publicjobs, and only after the psychometric testing phase will any personal details be passed to the city council for interview stage.. And the number of 830.. Pulled out of the sky...I work in the brigade in the city and I tell ya we have not been told anything about the applications... Numbers or anything of the like..

    when they doin interviews???
If a candidate successfully passes the aptitude test, they will then be called for an interview. You Must be fairly confident , if you are looking at being interviewed already. Id also say there are alot of applications for it.

Did you not read the book about the job before you applied? It was on the publicjobs.ie website. Everyone will be called for the aptitude , i think. 95% is the pass rate for the aptitude , i think.

You should have heard today (or in the next few days) that the dates for testing are either the 13th or 14th of December, the date your booked in for will be announced the week of Nov 28th

PS. here is a link to the Familiarisation booklet for the test :)

    Best of Luck

Whatever test you passed to get your punctuation nazi license obviously didn't cover apostrophes. If you're going to correct someone, at least have your own sentence right. Better yet, don't correct the person at all. It's not big and it's not clever.

On topic: Best of luck to any of you applying for this job. I know it's not something I'd be able to do.

2oo is what the staff said it was booked for per day. I reckon there were about 140 tables and only half of them were used. Hopefully that will be a similar number for all the sessions. Best of luck to you as well
