No, I mean like Limericks style last year.
Sorry, I thought I was dealing with reasonably intelligent people. Next time I'll spell it out for you.

So you were referring to Limerick's jersey out of context and expecting us to know?

I also love when people try and claim they're more intelligent than others on the Internet, hope that comment boosted your ego somewhat, keep telling yourself you're a genius.

Where did I claim I was more intelligent?

    You're making stuff up now.
    Run along.......

You stated as fact that Dublin were bringing out a new one. Have you got a source for this? Or would you like to draw me a picture of the new jersey

There will be no new jersey, I guess only time will tell.

    Thanks

I think the template will be similar to the new Waterford jersey. Glad to see the collar go.

Roscommon new sponsor announced as local gaa supporters John and Lily Murphy, Casllerea. Mr Murphy is a retired businesman who is involved in the Hospice movement, and this will be incorporated into the jersey logo

Lads, anyone know if Azzurri sell player fit Waterford jerseys (the new one)? On their website there and its laid out badly, all I can see is options to create your own jersey.

They do but it is blank at the moment. It is under 'Shop Online > GAA County Shops'.

That is where they were before and probably will whenever they update it with new jerseys. Agree it is not a good website.

    Wexford shirt very 90s style.

    330603.jpg

Nice but i would prefer this type

    INPHO_00002766.jpg

EDIT: Constitutes a colour clash should they meet Tipp i think. they play us in the NFL this year but may don the current style (09-11) for that one in which case that jersey doesnt really clash with ours

Thats the actual badge below.....I know pretty shi*e isnt it? The jersey they wore against Dublin last month in the O'Byrne Cup had a gold monochrome version of the badge

Any truth to the fact that the Galway senior hurlers are changing their jersey?

That Wexford one looks brilliant, might even buy it.

A few years ago they couldn't make a decent jersey to save their lives but O'Neill's are making some lovely jerseys the last 2/3 years. ...gone is the over complicated designs with the county name and crest plastered everywhere and in is the ultra simplistic templates.

Anyone heard anything on the new proposed Mayo one.
I know they were due to wear it lst night but the game was called off.

Unless or O'Neills are going i doubt it as it is year 3 of the 3 year cycle, but sure who knows.

Supermacs must be the longest deal currently remaining in the GAA going back to when sponsorship started in 1991.

  • Registered Users Posts: 347 ✭✭Concannon7

I can't stand most GAA jerseys at the moment but I hope they don't change the Galway Hurling one. After a near decade of crap jerseys the current one is really nice. I love the Limerick top and despite the crap looking sponser that new Wexford jersey looks ok.

When did they have "yellow bellies"? The shoulders were yellow but the bellies were always purple, on?

Anyone know what happened to the debut of the new mayo jersey on Saturday night?

I was wondering the same thing.

I thought the whole thing was a planned one off jersey for the Dublin game and if it was received well then Mayo would keep it.

Opinion is split on these jersies at home - the retro look get a thumbs up, but many do not like the large sponsor's insignia. Fingers crossed for a white version, which really is the bizzo!!

Haven't heard anything, Cork jerseys usually last for three championships so I'd imagine any new jersey wouldn't be coming until this winter.

That sponsor on Armagh away jersey ruins what is cracking jersey otherwise.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,062 ✭✭✭walrusgumble

Is it just the uniqueness of some county's colours, I think Armagh and Antrim have the niceness jerseys, along with Down.

After all the great retro efforts of the last few years we are going back to the days of messy and needlessly overcomplicated designs.

I think Azzurri are the culprits of this. Think O'Neills are still dishing out solid jerseys i.e. Longford, Roscommon, Mayo and Armagh's would be nice but for the unfortunate sponsor logo.

I disagree. O'Neills were throwing a few fussy designs about a bit before the 2003 season when Azzurri and Gaelic Gear entered the market.
