Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Home Blonde Hair Dye Advice

Hi Guys, it would be great if you could help!

I have dark blonde hair. I usually dye it a lighter shade of blonde as I have alot of grey hair! I was really happy with the last shade of blonde I dyed it but didn't make a note of what brand / shade it was.

Today I bought Garnier Pineapple 9.3 Light Golden Blonde [permanent]. I dyed it earlier and it's turned out a dark blonde colour!! Ironic... considering I was trying to steer away from my natural colour!

Anyway, I was wondering can I dye this a lighter shade tomorrow? [I really want to change it as soon as I can] Do I need to leave it for a while before I can throw another dye in on top of it? I'm really not happy with it... it's too dark for me and I look ill!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, apologies if this type of thread has been posted before [and I'm sure it has!].

    Thanks!

if you have a sally or salon services near you,
get one box of blue bleach, 20vol or 6% of peroxide and out on your hair for 20mins.
then get luo color toner in color P02 and leave it on for 10-15 mins. but keep checking the color so that it dosnt get a lilac tint.

    voila, bright blonde hair!!!!

if you have any questions pm me :D

That would make her hair platinum blonde or 'white' blonde. Don't think that's the look she's going for.

TBH OP I'd leave it a week or so and use some good conditioning treatments in the mean time.

Thanks guys. Not many responses but helpful nonetheless.

I do agree, Sashiee that platinum blonde is not what I'm looking for & it sounds like your solution would make my hair too white-blonde.

I just want it looking natural. Anyway, I dyed it another lighter blonde the next day and it's worked out quite well... good root coverage & greys all gone & looking natural blonde which is great.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciate.
