Wondering if we could keep a thread going on upcoming stuff that's on in the county or your town however small that you know about that others would be interested in, like gigs, fairs, events, etc. It would be great just to check back regularly to see whats happening and fill people in on events that they might not know are going on in the county.

Ill start the ball rolling with Tommy Tiernans world tour of Donegal.

A bit pricey I feel but worth it if you've never seen him.

    Hi everyone,

Just a few things, this thread isn't to be used to spam / pimp up an event, gig, festival or if you have vested interest in an event. The mods will use their own discretion and decide if a post stays or goes. Also if we get more spam than Genuine posts the thread will be closed.

If in doubt about a post your thinking about putting in here drop a PM to Muffler or myself.

Hydraulic Fracturing or 'fracking' is being proposed and in some cases has been granted licence as a method of extracting natural gas in areas of Donegal, Derry, Cavan Leitrim & Fermanagh.

American Landowner Josh Fox was curious when he was offered $100,000 for use of his land to frack for gas. GASLAND is the resulting film documentary.

Everyone is invited to a free showing of the film GASLAND at the Carndonagh Library at 7pm on Thursday, December 1st.
