Collecting the mother from work and one of the yummy mummy's picking up her kid was looking at my car. Told my mother she's getting a lift home in style today and she didn't know I was her son. Then she says she used to have a DC2 before getting into this having babies jazz and bought an Accord.

Decided I'd be nice and give her some launch control and VTEC when I got out on to the road while COMPLETELY forgetting my mother was in the car with me.

    :D

Mondello to Portlaoise is max 45 mins, Portlaoise to Limerick is no more then an hour fifteen unless you take the scenic route, so if you leave by 2:45 you'll be fine?

    Well I'm from Nenagh.

I know the normal travel time I just wasn't sure what time the day in Mondello would be finished by really :)

Aren't track days usually all day events, but you are not bound to spend the entire day there, so you can choose when to stop and leave?

By scenic route, I meant going via Killaloe :)

Nah it's the Mazda3 starter pack I'm doing.

As for the scenic route being Killaloe........it's the quick road if I'm heading to Ennis..........Nenagh-Ennis late for a wedding and I had the wedding car I done it in 45 minutes.............the car was a Rover SD1 2600

Fook the mazda 3's, the single seaters are where the fun is :D

Lightning would be the best lad to tell you how long you might be there for, I honestly can't remember how long I was there, but keep in mind that things can (and do) get delayed.... especially when people decide they prefer gravel or grass than the track :D

Slow in, fast out, and enjoy the damn thing ;)
