Jut saw that, what exactly do you think is wrong with it?
Does it need a new gearbox?

    Cheers man!

This country is doing its best to break big car drivers but I'm fcuked if I'll give in totally yet! ;)

The 7er is now costing me almost as much in tax per month as it does on fuel so I've decided to move her on and go for a classic as a daily. Looking for a pre-80 V6 Capri, either a 3L MkII or early MkIII 2.8. Fuel costs will be much the same but only €52 tax a year! :)

    7.05pm megane put on donedeal.
    8.05pm phone call.
9.55pm megane sized hole on driveway

A Capri is my dream car. You, do realise that on days like today its obligatory to drive with the window down, smoke lit, aviators on and Creedence Clearwater Revival playing?

Anyone know if it is possible to get a plate made up with correctly fits the rover 75 boot when I VRT the car?

Loads. Narrowing it down is the thing. Saloon. Bit of comfort. Budget around 3k.
I'm leaning towards mondeo, but very up in the air. I like those 75's :pac:

There's a guy in town who has the rear plate to fit. I'll try find out where he got it done.

I can't seem to get an option for one.

It's a specific shaped plate. If I try to order a UK plate they want proof of ownership. I could get a yellow one made up but would prefer an Irish plate

    They look gack anyway.

Funny enough, I saw a 75 tourer the other day with the kind of shaped you're talking about (uk one) with the Irish one just screwed on top of it.

I've spotted one in White before which didn't look great but there was too many numbers of it for it to look right

Maybe I'll just get a standard one. I'll price a fitted one first

I was working in Portlaoise today then I got a call at around 3 (when I was just about finished) asking me to drive to Tullamore to sign a credit note, I really enjoyed the cross country spin, I was in my own car today too :D

I didn't even hit VTEC once, just sat back, window down and some Deep Purple. The coilovers are nice though, I don't have to slow down for bends and there is no drama

They did indeed, enough to cover the fuel and a nice lunch :p
