Honestly! Speaking of Sky does anybody elses skybox take forever load up if you turn it on after being switched off at the mains? Ours takes approx 4/5 mins to load up.

Ok il take your word for it!!!!!!!
I dont have sky:o. But I done that to my ps3 and it broke it. I then got another ps3 and it broke for the same reason. I am on my 3rd ps3 in the last 2 years. Im getting lazy again and swiching it off at the wall. I better stop doing it.

Anywho, I belive that switching what ever off at the wall ruins it.

    (if that makes sence)

Yeah i get what your saying. I have started leaving it on standby as im getting annoyed waiting for it to start up. Just wanted to know if that was normal or we just got a faulty box.

It's normal. It has to download the planner and register with the system again when turned on. Generally mines only ever turned off during the monthly cache wipe to keep her ticking....

I'd be the same, I've never gotten respectable mpg figures from any petrol I've ever had.

I'd take the day in lieu, they can't take PRSI, PAYE and USC out of that :)
