Used to go there with my old job quite a bit. Not a bad spot really, for your standard chart pub/club affair. Some nice ladies do frequent it also, which helps.

Only there once myself it was huge. Much prefer a little dark underground house or techno club :D

Same. Basement in the Twisted Pepper can be decent. Although that whole place has been somewhat taken over by hipsters. Disappointing. :(

THere's a place next to advance in town, does alarms and audio, doubt they carry much stock though, the internet has made that business less than viable now I reckon. The full stop , carnoisseur place by the train station might be worth a look too, doubt they're what you require though.

Thanks james, guess halfords is it so!

Ah right. I'd say you're best off just ordering them online.

Although as a very left field potential option, have you checked Maplin? Might be worth a shot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,238 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

the only place online costs 12£ and then £13 to post!

Hopefully the doc is up to the task!

What happened it?? Did you pick it up today and find the problems on the way back?

Crunching when it goes into 1st, pops out of gear. At high revs when the turbo spools up it smokes really really badly :( Steering doesnt feel too good either. Also about an hour from the ferry I had somebody pull alongside me and tell me that I had a fuel leak. Pulled into services and sure enough she was pissing fuel. Got a local garage to come out an do a quick fix.

Quite annoyed as she looks mint and lots of work was done and she passed an MOT last week. I no longer have any faith in the MOT thats for sure!

The crunching to me would show that the synchro is past it and the smoke would more than likely be turbo seals. You may be able to cure the turbo smoke by using a thicker viscosity oil.

Random electrical issues. Battery light popped on in the clio this last night after I flatted the battery by leaving the lights on.

Put a spare battery in and the battery light comes on after a small drive and its dead by the time I get home. However, when I charged the original battery and popped it back in, there was no light and the alternator was putting out an healthy 14.68v at idle.

Off to check my earthing points now. Any other ideas.

You remind me of a friend of mine.

in the pub the other night a fly landed in his pint,

"Hi!" *picks up the fly and shakes it* "Spit it back out"...

I would have asked for the bar man to fill up the approx amount that the fly drank back into my pint from the tap.
