Happened me as well (well, I spent a few minutes scratching my head and figured it out) when I had the almera

    Which version did you have?
Anything you think I should look out for with them?

    Don't suppose you lowered yours?
Mine's pretty high and I'd like to sit it down a little bit. :)

Same as yours, just a 5 door. Mine was fairly trouble free for the most part, they do tend to be quite reliable. Rust is a big thing to watch for but apart from that, Nissan Doc would know better than me it's weak points.

Never bothered lowering mine, did get 15" alloys and a splitter, but i know what you mean about it being rather high :)

Come to think of it I should have those original nissan 14"s somewhere

Sounds sweet so, I was under the hood today for a bit and everything was looking pretty tidy, I love how simple everything is in there.

I did notice the odd patch of surface rust but for now I want to sort the rest of it. I'll come back to that before it gets worse though.

If you have them around and you want rid of them I might be interested in buying them from you.
The GF's brother cracked an alloy a while ago and now it's got 3 nice one and one that's not so nice and above all else, not the same as the rest. Haha
If I can grab one of the other's I'd be happy to keep them after market ones.

Had to call my GF's dad to ask him how to start the car I got from them.
Very embarressing really, I didn't realise it had a stearing lock on it and I couldn't figure out how to turn the key in the ignition... One phone call and a twist of the wheel later and I now know how to start my car. :o:p

I'm assuming you're posting under someone else's name........

When I was on shift work we used to work 7 days and 7 nights every 28 days, if you took two shifts particular shifts off you only had 5 shifts in 3 weeks, 'twas great. It was in Dublin and some of the ole lad's friends thought I was unemployed my car was here so much.
