    What sig?

TBH like I said to you last week I thought the power delivery in the vRS was rubbish. It's a nice place to sit and I'm sure we'll suited to big motorway miles but give me the Mada any day

the sig appears to be gone!

I think you'll remember I said that to you first! Was my one big gripe with it. I drove mik_da_mans 300bhp focus and it wasn't as bad for it! Lag, lag, lag, lag, ditch.

No rev limiters on the Mazda`s and you really have to rev them to get them moving. They spend most of their time at the very high end of the RPM scale.

    Good to hear.

I remember having a go in the rovers and was bored dumbstruck going around the track.

I did have great fun in the single seaters in the p1ssing rain with tyres that said 'dry use only' on them:P

My instructor shouted 'Power on now' when coming out of 7b, the car spun and then he proceeded to give out to me for powering on too early

The instructors are all a shower of bastards. That right Lightning?

You can only get the lower powered one here unless you get the Z sport which is near impossible to find and way overpriced (€36k). So 129 is the one I'm getting. It's more than enough though as the 6 is actually a pretty light car for its class. Was miles better than the 2 litre 140 Mondeo I was looking at.

Just don't forget about getting it remapped ;)

Much work in getting the VW logos, colours etc on it or am I better off getting a RNS?

Buy the VW one. It's possible but I don't know of anyone that would stand over the work tbh.

I blame poor throttle application on the driver behalf. You Honda drivers have no finesse :pac:

Sure you'll never get the V-Tec(tm) Powah! if you're in any way gentle on the throttle. :p

MM I was just looking up the 6 mps on wiki last night as you do and found this
Car and Driver magazine has achieved a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds for this vehicle.

 I know its not as powerful as an E46 M3 but its as fast at the 0-60 sprint!

I'd think there's some trickery going on there. I don't know how it would be as fast as the M3 considering it's quite a bit heavier and there's turbo lag vs. N/A.

Even Mazda say it's 6.5 seconds.

6MPS is 4wd though that would help it off the line

True but would it make up for the slight turbo lag vs. instant power from the M3?

You only get lag if you don't use the gears/revs properly.;)

Yeah id say it hard get a good launch in an M3 without leaving 100 meters of rubber behind :p And the american MPS seems to have a slightly more powerful map and probably isnt limited in 1st and 2nd gear

Actually there's a secret launch control in the M3 with SMG boxes ;)

Leaving rubber behind is never good. No no no. In any circumstances.

fanboi or fanbois 1. Derogatory. A person with an irrational
attachment to a particular item or brand name,
and an equally irrational dislike for competing
brands or items. This behaviour is often seen
during discussion threads pertaining to ISPs,
computer hardware or motor vehicles. 2. A person who has a strong dislike of a paticular
item or brand name may incorrectly refer to
another who uses that product as a fanboi. Well now you learn something new everyday.

Proper grip when reversing, and that shouldn't happen! ;)
