Admit it, at least once in your life you have tried to balance the light switch between the on and off position.

    That is all.

And I succeeded. Now I'm trying to balance a pencil
on a table like Joker did in The Dark Knight.

Need to buy more pencils dammit.

I did it the other day without realising, the light was buzzing and flickering and I didn't know why until I checked the switch.

    Feels good man.

No way - you must respect the awesome power of electricity - it's not a toy to be played with.

What's next - try to hold a lit match for as long as possible?

Play russian roulette on your own while drunk with a loaded revolver?

Chop your arm off with a blunt penknife to see how it feels?

It's a light switch. It's not like we are all sitting around
playing catch with a grenade. . . idea forming.

I like to create the atmosphere from a Horror movie where the light comes on and off rapidly using this technique.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,207 ✭✭✭The King of Moo

I've done that, but only a few times as I'm still focusing my efforts on catching the light in the fridge.

    One day...

Screwing with light-switches is the done thing for people like me who like living on the edge. I inherited extreme living from my father, who insisted on never having a plug on electric cables, preferring instead to jam the bare wires into a socket.

I got it to buzz by holding it in that position, it wasn't a dimmer switch either :pac: I was told to stop because the neighbors would think I was trying to morse code them

Don't be ridculous, why would I turn on the light switch like some of Medieval servant?

I ring the bell and have Letty do it.
