Expanding Foam question

    Got expanding foam on upvc door and cant get it off any tips on how to get it off or is there any useful products

    If it's wet use acetone or nail polish remover, and if it's dry take of as much as you can with a blade and then give it a rub with light sandpaper or scotch brite.

    Hah, expanding foam can be hard to control. As Fergal said nail varnish is excellent for removing but first cut off as much with a knife or even a scissors and sand down excess. If it's actually on the door frame itself you obviously want to avoid scratching and staining so go with the nail varnish. Before you start put a dot of varnish somewhere out of sight and check it doesn't cause some weird staining or the like before you start.

    You can buy remover for that polyurethane foam. In the hardware store.

    Everbuild produce aproduct called Foam eater that most hardware stores have. My slabbers ruined a door with expanding foam !!
