    Im doing a BER for first time with retro installed solar panels. I have the following information:

    Gross area of panels = 6.822m2
    energy yield = 8.8 kw/h
    Make = kingspan
    dedicated solar storage volume = 150L
    no overshading, flat glazed panels.

    HOW DO I INPUT THIS STUFF INTO DEAP???? any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

    go to DEAP, so to "enter solar heating" in the water heating workspace.....

    check out the inputs you need, and contact your client / manufacturers for this information.
    alternativly check for the particular product on the HARP database.

    you need:

    aperature area
    'zero loss' collector efficiency
    collector heat loss coefficient
    find out of the system is pumped or gravity

    you then have all the information you need to complete the 'solar heating' tab.
