Evacuations in Dublin city centre today?

    I tried to go into the GPO around half three today but it was closed. I walked along Abbey Street and there was a crowd of people walking along accompanied by high-vis 'evacuation stewards'. They walked all the way up to Jervis.

    I also say a similar crowd in Smithfield about half an hour later.

    Was it national evacuation or fire-drill day today or something?

    With Ze Germans in charge all "non essential" personel are being relocated to the east..one suitcase each and dont forget your valuables.
