Parking near Dame Street / Temple Bar

Hi, I have to drive to Dublin tomorrow, dreading the traffic and worried etc cos first time driving there alone. Will be there around 18.00. Do I need to car in a multistorey at that time or can I throw the car on the side of the road. Heading around the Dame Street area etc.

You could always leave it at the Red Cow Park & Ride and get the Luas in if you don't fancy the traffic etc.

Normal on-street parking won't be free until 7pm at least. Check the signage to be sure though.
