Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is a TKD school in Terenure. That's a striking art. It's more sport than streetfighting though.

Chupasart are in Walkinstown, Muay Thai is the best striking art bar none, well worth making the effort to get there.

i live in terenure as well and chupasart as mentioned is your best bet if you are looking for striking alone and paddy is a great teacher. if you are lookingfor a mix then sbg is just up the road in walkinstown as well great boxing and thai instructors. i cant think of any else off the top of my head that are worth mentioning but the two above are top class :D

The 9 bus, formerly the 19A goes to the Walkinstown Roundabout, I think that skirts Terenure/Kimmage so that would be a way to get there.

Very good TKD club in Terenure, in the Terenure Primary school, Mon and Thurs at 8pm, coach is Jonathan Dargan. www.inta.ie has the contact details, terenure's own website is down at moment, but contact details on the inta website. Good tough classes...BBs and beginners there...

    Hi Bill

We have combat silat classes in Firhouse (No 49 goes through Tenerue stops outside Firhouse center) on Monday and Wednesday 7.30pm, also classes in Walkinstown on Kylemore rd on a Thursday night at 8pm.

Silat is a combination of a striking / grappling style blended with weapon defences. If you like more info or want a go, just let me know and I look after you.

    Cheers

    Liam

    Yeah 50e covers 24 classes a month, 6 a week.

classes are anything between 1hr 45mins and 2 hrs depending on what were at.

there an offer on as well at the moment on our Fbook page

    http://www.facebook.com/ChupasartThaiBoxing?ref=ts#!/ChupasartThaiBoxing

basically pay for 3 months training and brign your mate for free for the 3 months... or split the cost with him if you want.

    any more questions just shout.
