What is the best way to wire power showers. Is it ok to link off socket circuit or better to run seperate supply form 10A mcb under rcd protection.Do you still need fused spur near shower and is pull cord switch required.I have one electric shower so i presume its ok to use same cable with smaller mcb.I have a fair idea what has to be done just interested to see how everyone else wires these up.Many thanks.

I dont see anything in rules requiring dedicated rcd

so i assume its ok to connect to common rcd

manufacturers instructions will prob specify 3amp fuse
