Is there a way to check the number of SATA ports in a computer without actually having to open it up? The reason I'm asking is the computer I'm thinking about is not to hand so I can't open it and check.

Boot the computer then press DEL and in the BIOS (usually first option) you should be able to see SATA channels, count them up
