Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all.

    Just a heads up for anyone on/interested in the boards.ie server. I'll be stepping down as server mod and maintenance in the coming days. I've gotten to the point where I no longer have the time to keep a track of the server. It's amazing really to think how far things have gone since Tallon's server over a year ago, to having our own forum, and now Minecraft's full release.

    I'd like to thank DeVore & Shiminay for the use of the data box, without it there probably wouldn't even be a Minecraft forum let alone a server! Much thanks to Tallon who got the ball rolling (a bit out of control at one point :pac:). I'd like to thank the mods on the servers too who have been a huge help, things would've been a complete mess without you guys!

    On a lighter note, please welcome Blandkitten and deconduo to the boards.ie server mod/maintenance team! I'm sure they'll inject some life into the server and keep it on its feet. They've done a great job for many months and I'm sure they'll continue to be.

    btw I haven't stopped playing :P I just play a lot of single player for the time being.

    There's a certain irony in running the server for so long, then stepping down as the full version is released. :)

    Thanks for all the work you put into it, and putting up with all the demands from everyone.

    Don't really get to play as a result of college now, but thank you cherry for all the work you did on the server when i was on a lot during the summer and before :D

    Don't play much due to work and laptop gone to ****e.

    But you were always a legend, remember the airstrip when the repeaters came out? Awesome!

    Good choice for a replacement, blandkitten will do very well, long live the cannon making king :pac:
