Text message issue! T-mobile USA-Meteor

I've recently moved to Boston and in the process have set up am American mobile number with T-mobile...problem is when I send a message back to Ireland to someone on the Meteor network they are receiving some messages several times! Only seems to be happening on texts that are only one message in length! Any other 2+…

Any idea what the reason might be for this?

And just before anyone asks I can't check if I'm being charged cause it's an unlimited plan! Also the answer might be on Google but can't see it on my phone right now so sorry if it's something obvious!
