    Our favourite shortcut has reopened, minus the mud and the slippy climb that ruined many a good pair of shoes.

    The streetlights on the new path aren't functioning yet but it's still bright enough to see where you're going. You won't need your torch any more. Happy days!

    IIRC, the original proposal included changes to the distributor road incl;
    • pay and display parking :-(
    • traffic calming (speed bumps)
    • on-road cyclelane
    Wonder if these will appear after the opening?
