    Morning,
I'm moving into a house with no broadband for a short time, 2 or 3 months maximum.
Is it possible to get bb on a month by month term?
If so, who is the best provider?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

A 3g dongle might be your only option.

Not a hope of getting proper broadband for less than 12 months (9 months maybe as a student with some UPC offer). A 3G service is probably your only hope of Internet access on a temporary basis. Check out coverage and signal at the new location, but there is no way to know up front what might work best (or at all) in any specific place.

    Thanks for getting back lads.
I assume those dongles are useless for online gaming? :(

It might work, poorly. Expect the lag to be bad, and you may get kicked for ping quite often. There's no way to tell. You can try it, but don't depend on it, especially during peak evening times.

Pretty much useless yes...ping times can vary wildly on 3G
