Facebook surprise birthday event - blocking the birthday boy??

    Hi All,

Am organising a surprise birthday party and was going to set up a FB event to invite people. Just wondering, is it possible to block just one person from seeing anything to do with this - of course he would be friends with all the people i'm inviting this way so don't want it showing up on their feeds etc?
It allows on the Create Event page for the event to be private but i have also seen these events on other peoples pages when i have not been invited? Dont wanna go any further with the event until i know i can block him, so much work going into keeping it a surprise i'd hate to blow it now!!
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    E

Might be worth looking into secret events on Facebook - and checking if they really do come up in news feeds, I think they only are visible to people that are invited.

    Fair play to ya!

Thanks Edanto - while it appears i can set the audience to custom, which lets me block him, anyone who shares this event to others (which i want them to do in order to reach everyone) would be responsible for making sure they do the same thing - so think its not worth the risk!! Will just have to track down FB and email addresses!!! Ah well at least i found out early instead of leaving it til last minute!
    Thanks for your help anyway!

Set it so that you can only invite people or may be one or two other admins? Nobody who's not invited will see posts relating to the event.
