Who was that Pitbull fellow. I'm not all that up to date on this music you kids call hippety hop.

Ware didn't agree with the call "whats the ****ing umpire looking at."

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 816 ✭✭✭vinny chase

Reggie is keeping his good run of form going.

Impressed with Matt Moore tonight too. This mid-season rejuvenation of the Dolphins certainly is strange!

Their rejuvination is very strange. Id say they are very annoyed at thmeselves, playing the way they are at the moment they could have won most of those early season games they lost

    Savage stuff. Come on Miami.

That was a ridiculous drive by Romo. 4 sensational throws.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 453 ✭✭Denners.ie

    Magical stuff from Romo.

    Unreal!!!
Phins should have 3 sacks and instead concede a TD!
Come on Moore, step up again!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,717 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I'm strongly think of doing a post on Norv Turner in the next couple of days. He cut Laurent Robinson:D.

Dallas love shooting themselves in the foot.

This is a really enjoyable game.

Jesus the Dallas D is making Matt Moore and the Miami offense look like the greatest show on turf. Just get a stop FFS

Enjoyable game though, that drive by Romo was hilariously brilliant

What a enjoyable game this has been. That cut Reggie did was excellent.
He has been so much better since he got out of Nawwwleans.

    Why didn't Moore run that?

Did you not see Ware acting as a spy? He wouldn't have had a hope.

Cowboys are doing some braindead stuff in terms of penalties and defending.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 537 ✭✭✭raddo

    Anyone's game

Echoes of 93' here, field goal to win the game on Thanksgiving Day. Unfortunately there's no snow for Miami this time for a possible miss.

Game to the Cowboys, they're still suttering on.

Excellent game to watch. Romo was very good when it came down to it despite having a shaky start.

Pity there's an hour break until the Ravens game as I'll probably fall asleep before then

They just about got over the line but I don't see them competing with the Pack or the Saints for the NFC. Their secondary is really, really bad and the offense still isn't firing on all cylinders. They'll be dangerous though because they have so much talent. Murray is a fantastic find.

Can't wait for the next game now :D

You're right. The youtube video I was watching of it earlier had it as 83' for some reason.

good game non of these teams will be going far in play-offs if they get there ... better game to watch than first .. Romo made some great throws and got out of trouble on several occasions .. looking forward to next game not seen much of the 49ers games this year ,, think ray lewis is out but ravens defence is still something to worry about ....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,717 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I really fancy the 49ers tonight. I've always thought they have a reall talented bunch of players and were just held back by a bad coach. Their record so far this year proves that and I expect them to make a big statement tonight. Really, really love their defense and this is a really good test for it with a well balanced offense against them.

Ooooh Mike mayock will commentate on this game? Will probably watch. He's vastly intelligent.

Ah Ravens Stadium. Memories of the Patriots here in '07 and Bart Scott firing the yellow flag into the crowd while simultaneously costing his team the chance of derailing the Pats' perfect season.

    Rooting for Flacco here.

Love Mayock myself too. He is my favourite guy to listen to about the NFL. He is only getting into color commentary but he is starting to get very comfortable doing it now. Can see him being rated the no.1 color commentator in the not too distant future.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

Yup. Nice to see him move from coverage of the Draft into the NFL. Very smart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,329 ✭✭✭padraig_f

First time hearing Maycock, he sounds excellent alright.

Liking the Ravens in the early going, Flacco is getting better protection than Smith.

anyone got a nice stream? chanfeed is being temperamental as usual

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

Ravens defense is very good. All over the place - Smith sacked four times and strong coverage down the field. No score but a decent game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

I didn't like Cecil Martin before but in he past few weeks I have warmed to him. His enthusiasm is utterly infectious and he's very positive. Cool dude I'd say! That Sky coverage has good chemistry. Pity Nick's not around. He and Kev had good banter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Sky's coverage has been excellent today IMO. It's not easy to do a 12 hour slot and I was expecting to be bored silly of their attempts at passing the time, but they've had some good features and are all in good form too. Fair play to them.

Touchdown! Ravens so much better since they started throwing the ball after half-time.

Fell asleep last night during the half time ... good day of football , delighted ravens won ... delighted such a good following of nfl on this site ....... ok 2 days to watch cfb and make my picks for sunday

Weird day, despite packers winning got to say the defence is really starting to worry me. If it weren't for all the points off of picks we'd be in a bit of bother imo, while I'm not concerned with going undefeated last nights performance won't be scaring any teams!

The Packers aint been beaten in their last 17 games crazy. 17-0, looking back last season they could only manage a field goal against the Lions.

Kinda bewildered by this statement. 3 picks and a couple of scores in garbage time for Detroit hardly suggest a bad day. "All the points off picks" isn't usually a reason to complain about your defense either. Sure, it's not the greatest D in the league, but it's not the worst by a long shot.

We're looking at one of the greatest offenses in history, so having a balance between D and O is unrealistic.

Bit surprised by the mutterings coming from media and Pack fans. FFS, talk about fussy

You mean when Rodgers, there best player, went out with a concussion?! Hardly a measuring stick for performance!
