Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey everyone,

I'm purchasing a T.V for myself this Christmas and I have been looking for awhile now and I seem to be getting bogged down now with the different brands and specs.

    What I am looking for:

A T.V so I can hook up my mac book pro so I can use a wireless keyboard and mouse to browse the net, get soarview and watch BR films.

    Budget: €400
    Size: 32"

What do you think? Thanks for any help.
    Will.

    Hey there
    Where to start?
Is TV to be used as a monitor? If yes but TV sits on stand in the corner then you will need to physically connect your macbook. So there's a possible physical constraint there.
Your macbook as far as I know does not have HDMI so will need some sort of adapter for your video output - you also need to consider audio - a VGA cable for example does not carry audio.

Not quite the full browsing experience but you might want to consider Apple TV (movie rental/purchase, youtube, fliker amongst the services offered).

Or go the SmartTV (Samsungs range from 5 series up I believe) - again packaged internet so browsing per se not quite there.
