    maybe the wrong thread but looking to buy a nice watch for the wife, would like to spend about 250 - 300eu and will look at used watches.. anyone seen any nice ones about.

    In terms of value for money, a vintage Omega Seamaster is hard to beat. I bought my wife a 14k gold men's model for about €250 2 years ago. The gent's models from the 60s and 70s are very small by today's standards, so would be nice for a woman. I think hers is 34mm.
    There's a jewellers on Talbot St, near the Irish Life Centre, that has a range of used watches in stock, including a few nice Omegas. Also try the Jewellers/Pawnbrokers on Capel St, near Parnell St. Happy hunting
