Is this expensive?

    Hi all, hope its ok, don't know whether this is the right place, please redirect if possible.

    I want to know if this is good value. Its really high quality meat but I don't know how out of kilter it is with supermarket prices.

    The link says:
    Omega Beef Box 1 (€80):

    • 2 sirloin steaks (12oz each approx)
    • 1 pack of top-side stir-fry (.454 kg per pack approx)
    • 2 packs steak mince (.454 kg per pack approx)
    • 6 packs (24) Ultimate steak quarter pounders (.454 kg per pack approx)
    (Promise I am not affiliated in any way, genuinely need to know whether this is much more expensive than Supervalu/Tesco)

    Of course it's more expensive, it's organic beef init.

    I got burgers before from them and couldn't taste the benefit, and certianly couldn't justify the higher price.

    A quick recky from the site provided by melendez -

    2 Steaks - €10.00

    Stir fry - €10.00

    2 packs steak mince - €12.00

    Burgers - €5.00 per 4 so €30.00

    Total - €62.00

    Delivery - €20.00 (free above €100.00)

    Grand total - €82.00


    Omega Beef Box is €95.00 including delivery.

    So www.organicmeat.ie is cheaper.
