Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clothes Horse attacks student (well not really but still!)

    Danielle Morgan, 18, said she had been 'mucking about' in her flatmate Lisa Smith's bedroom when she fell off the bed and knocked over the drier, which fell on top of her.

    Friends and staff at Sir Peter Hilton Court hall of residence tried to help the teenager, whose neck and shoulders had become wedged inside the clothes horse - but called Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service when they were unable to free her.

    The fire brigade eventually used bolt cutters to release Danielle - who, despite suffering bruising to her neck and shoulders she said she had now seen the funny side of the accident.

    She told the BBC News website the clothes horse had locked itself over her head after she tried to move a quilt which had been drying on it - and that her friends took photos while she was trapped which later appeared on Facebook.


    'My friends just thought it was hilarious,' she said. 'I phoned one of my friends from home when I was stuck in it and she just thought I was drunk.

    'When we called the fire service I think they were quite amused,' Danielle added. 'They said they'd seen a lot of things before but never this.'

    Somebody posted a link to the BBC article earlier. Looks like a girl I know, so a couple of us used MS paint to edit it. It is now on the noticeboard, and we're waiting for her to come in.

    I'm glad. She got what she deserved. What gives her the right to attack a defenceless clothes horse?

    Why did they have to attack it with the bolt cutters though? It was only trying to defend itself.

    These people disgust me.
