Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was it a cow? As the agent says could be an abcess, usually with one of these detained ones it will have to be inspected again after hanging for a few days. You might not be paid for the full beast though.

come across it regularly, I think they send samples off for testing if the vet are suspicious of something. Animal maybe left in store for 2 weeks until clearance is given, which usually happens. On saying this I had what seemed like a perfect 24month old 300kgs DW heifer rejected last week

they were just finishing cattle just under the 30 months, we were paid, but i heard someone say its the factorys insurance that pays as once the animal is signed in to them, they have to pay you for him, this could be wrong though, there was one in a previous batch we sent too and we never heard anything back, its just a little worrying

Dont worry about it as most of the time everything is okay and your paid once the animal is cleared. Could be something like a lesion where and animal was injected with say a non sterile needle some time ago, any number of possibilities. If the animal was insured before slaughter then you will get insurance money if the animal is rejected.
