Only just in the door, whose playing well?

Was that Mike Prendergast with the pint, next to POC, Wally and Flan?

I see fogarty still can't hit the barn door anyway.

    Chambers butchered a 3 on 2 there.

Butler Barnes Zebo and MOD are the picks of the team imo Horan and TOD are doing pretty well as well DOC is trying too much imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Barnes could have been in for try number 2 if Chambers had done the right thing.

Barnes Defending at 12, attacking at 11/14. Interesting.

Agree with this. Keatley's mixed good with bad, with ball in hand he's been excellent, couple of dodgy kicks. Hurley's been good too.

If it had been anyone other than Horan on his shoulder, maybe Chambers pass would have gone to hand.

Still, should have released it earlier.

Munster's half backs and back row are doing well I think. Keatley has mixed the good and bad but is taking responsibility and doesn't seem to be getting stressed about his mistakes so is doing well overall I think.

Can only assume he saw that MOD and Horan were two of the three so thought twice.

Should have flashed it to Barnes instead.

Is it just me or does the pitch look poor in just one two many spots!

Good stuff from the lads but their butchering a lot of opportunities.

Just forced it slightly. Tried to put too much zip on it. No matter 3 points Keatley.

    13-5

    Thanks lads.

Has O'Dea had an opportunity to show what he's like? How has hurley been doing at full back?

Agreed. Hitting the line with a lot of pace and running good support lines.

No, haven't seen much from him at all. Hurley's been good. Hasn't really been tested defensively but he's doing well in attack, set up the try.

Anyone else surprised Munster aren't playing a little more territory with such a strong wind behind them? It's good to see them keep the ball in hand but a little more position and putting them under pressure might have delivered a bigger lead.

Hurley has been decent but hasn't patricularly impressed imo. O'Dea well lets just say that anything good that happens out there is when Barnes drifts wide. He has been anonymous. I'm not certain that the commenator on TG4 has mentioned him

Edinburgh have contributed nothing to this game, their try was a gift from Keatley.

Keatley is mixing the very good with the very bad! His mistake for the try was very costly and there's been a few poor kicks and some very good ones. His running game is excellent.

O'Dea made half break out of defence, other than that he hasn't seen much action. Hurley looking assured at 15, he played a crucial role in Barnes' try. Incidentally Barnes is playing well. Chambers butchered a certain try but cutting back inside, that was awful!

Just saw hurley's part to play for our try, strong running. Also saw keatley's part to play in Edinburghs try....no comment.

Good summary. Chambers hasn't impressed as much as I'd like, and he definitely shouldn't have messed up the overlap (which happened another time as far as I remember, though it wasn't Chambers that time).

All the back row have been good and Archer's carried fairly well.

Incidentally I saw Prendergast at Munster training one day in coaching gear, I think he might have a role with the A team/academy

Earls 2 seasons ago did the exact same thing, but it was 5 metres from the line, much closer than the move tonight.

Munster are by far the better side and really should be further ahead. Should be looking for a bonus point here.

I'll be seriously annoyed if Chambers doesn't stop trying to do stupid offloads.

Chambers looks firey enough. Tried to take your mans neck off. F-ing Fogerty is throwing awful Darts atm!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,889 ✭✭✭tolosenc

Try, for me. Got it on the line.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

Why didn't MOD kick the ball? He was watching it ffs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    Surely a Double Movement?

    No Matter 13-10.

    Lets lift it Munster!

    p.s Why isnt Patterson kicking?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Fogarty is just depressing, when are they gonna drop him?

Poor communication between Keatley and O'Dea there, Keatley rushed into that IMO. He should have been there to stop the grounding.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,549 ✭✭✭✭Judgement Day

Munster need to hold onto the ball instead of kicking it away to Edinburgh. Surprisingly TOL seems to be having a good game.

Good offload by TOD, and decent enough effort from LOD, he seems pretty quick.

Great run by Zebo, going for the scrum. Good call.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Zebo has been excellent all game, he maybe could have passed but he made up for it by making metres himself. He's an elusive runner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

Edinburgh TH in the bin, Luke O Dea had a feew good moments there annd then Zebo had a wonderfull break

    edit going for the scrum

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,889 ✭✭✭tolosenc

If you're going to get binned for that, at least slow down or seal off the ball. That was pathetic by Gilding, there.

Great run from Zebo. Wish he popped it up when he went to ground, would've been a sure try.

Keep thinking Leamy is playing with TOD :P

    Similer build and the Scrumcap

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

IS there another yellow or a penalty try coming, Munster need something from this period of scrum dominance
