    Young people with enough support for an act to fill a 4000 seater venue profitably?

    Yup - she's an artist who's currently riding a bit of a popularity wave atm

    Not a huge fan myself but I would have faith in her ability to throw a profitable gig

    Will she cover other artists songs? 2 albums worth of tracks will only cover 2 hours of performance is every single track is performed.
    Unless you are OK with forking out €20+ for less than an hour of concert.

    true cos lady gaga only played for an hour.
    Guy working with me said kenny rogers only played for an hour and the tickets were very expensive.
    Its the artists who dont see themselves as superstars will probobly play for longer. Im looking forward to the coronas.

    Jonathan Wilson added to the line up for the Tom Petty show. He's really good but I'd rather see one his own shows.

    I'd say they have missed the window to get any other acts. You'd never sell a show with just a month left to the date.
    The likes of Jedward etc would have been sold at a loss, with the larger, more expensive acts being the crowd pullers, and consequently, the ones where money was made by the promoters. They'll struggle to break even.

    Of course many of the acts appealing to a younger audience will also remove the other main earner for the event. Alcohol.

    I doubt it will return in 2013 unfortunately.

    Jesus the line-up so far is absolute shocking, can't see it getting any better either (hope I'm proven wrong though)

    Why aren't they trying to get some contemporary bands Kasabian, Bloc Party or Coldplay...Although I'm not a huge fan of Coldplay I'd still like to see them...

    Looks like they aren't spending the big bucks to get the big names like her.

    Add three nights of overpriced football and a heavily-pregnant-Imelda May show and the whole thing sounds like a a damp squib.
