EchoStar HDS-600RS or the Humax Foxsat PVR

Hi,
as they are basically now the same price, can anyone advise which is the better one to go for, the EchoStar HDS-600RS or the Humax Foxsat PVR?

Has anyone tried both and have a preference?

I have played with the Humax and it is great, but the added functionality in the EchoStar is attractive, but ease of use is more important than the sling box functionality.

Echostar Freesat 500GB has now dropped to £179 and given its added slingbox functionality and positive reviews, it's worthy of serious consideration.

does the echostar have disceq switch like the humax has? worth considering if the new saorsat service takes off.

Appears EchoStar HDS-600RS does not support DiSEqC at this time (Source).

According to the reviews on Amazon.co.uk this box now supports DiSEqC....

Anyone care to comment as to their experience with this box in non-freesat mode?

(seeing as it may now be able to DiSEqC, it could potentially be used on SAORSAT....????)
