    Hi

    Could anyone please explain to me what exactly is meant by "assistant lecturer".

    I am currently employed in an institution (private) where we are all just 'lecturers'!


    I know the nature of the role might vary from college to college, but if anyone could provide any insight on this I'd be grateful.
